If you're looking for a picture perfect vacation this fall, then now's the time to visit New England for it's impeccable foliage.
One town I'd recommend is Kent, Connecticut. This small town gets tourists from all over. New Yorkers love it. You have the little mom and pop shops, churches, unique restaurants and bed and breakfasts to lounge and dine.
Once you're in town, you can see why Kent is the #1 town in Connecticut for fall foliage. All you have to do is look all around you and there you will see backdrops of tree-coated mountains. You're literally standing in a perfect picture.
The highlight of this tiny town, I'd say, would be Kent falls. Kent Falls sit on a direct route about 4.5 miles out from town. It's known for it's wooden covered bridge and beautifully layered waterfall (which you are able to walk in the midst). The fall trickle in a crystal clear pond, filtering into a rocky stream. I haven't seen water this clear since I left Washington state. You'll see families having picnics, kids playing Frisbee, and hikers ready to explore.
The foliage of New England is unlike any other, and is a perfect place to shop for unique gifts to bring back home to your friends and relatives.

The Holiday Patrol Is HOT!
TheHolidayPatrol.com is a fairly new company managed online and in my opinion is one of the greatest ideas planned and established in a very long time. What is The Holiday Patrol? Well, in a "nutshell", The Holiday Patrol" is the first of it's kind Complete Online Gift Arrangement Service. They take care of the complete gifting process from A-Z, everything. From the purchasing, to the gift wrapping, carding, shipping, etc. I love this company because I can set out an order now for next Christmas, and it's there! Where ever I wanted it shipped and whomever I wanted it shipped to!
The site attracts mostly working men due to the fact studies have shown that most men aren't so great in the "gifting area".
The website and service is basically for those who are really busy, overwork, procrastinators, you name it. It's for anyone who may not be able to remember specially occasions, events, or forget. Oh, did I mention, you can have what I personally call the Pamper Package. Just buy a package for yourself and have gifts delivered to you throughout the year: on your birthday, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, you name it. This is very popular!
The one thing some people may get confused about is the gifts. Here's the thing, with the Holiday Patrol, you choose categories of gifts, ie: Jewelry for Her, Spa Certificate for Him, Electronic Toy for Child, etc. And when you select a category, they then ask you for specifics , such as the recipient's guesstimated age, gender and so on, so they can provide the best gift possible for the person of your choosing. Then they select a gift that best fit your selections. If you picked Jewelry for Her, you may get a pearl necklace, diamond earrings, a gold necklace, etc. Everything they provide is really good quality and worth the money. Nothing is junk.
Some ask, "Well, how come I can't select my own gifts?" And the reason is because The Holiday Patrol is not an Online Store, it's an Online Service that is here to make your life easier. If they had a bunch of products just posted on their website, and you select one to be shipped next August, what happens if the product is out of stock by then. Plus, it would be overwhelming if everyone of their customers request Cannon Powershot SX110 or the Elmo TMX. Their staff would be running around like a chicken with their heads cut off trying to find these specifics. That is the job of personal shoppers. The Holiday Patrol IS NOT a personal shopper. Their way of doing things is easy for YOU and easy for THEM at the same time and everything runs smooth this way.To wrap things up, I love this place, and you will too.
